The island had Many Natives living on the Island till the Spanish took over , at the time that
Conquerer in 1492 by Colombus ,San Juan the capital was the second city of the Island but became the capila and was Build in 1521 its the second oldest in America after Dominican republic and the Oldest in the USA .
Most people from Puerto Rico are Spanish mix ,Spanish bring there slaves from the west coast of africa and they started to mix and became the creole . early on the French even enemies of Spain they started to move in the island Places like ponce and Vieques island it is so that 16% of surnames are french in the island . we also got Greeks like my family and Jew and dutch but not so present in the island , but in 1815 we got Thousands of families from Corsica that move to the island its so that there is a city that its Know for the coffe and to be the second Corsica , and Latter on By the USA in Spanish american war in 1898 since then it Became Part of USA .
Puerto Its part of USA and it has so much to offer some of the main Industries are Pharmaceutical and Tourism . and the Island has 78 City's the population close to 4 million and the Other 4 million its in NY and Orlando lol , Puerto Rico its a great Place to visit .
Now I was a History Tour Guide for almost 10 years in Puerto Rico and I love the History but I wont talk much about it and I want to show the most important Places to see :
El Yunque the Rain Forest , its part of National parks of USA was created as a Park by King Alfonso 12 in 1876 and its 28,000 acres That I really recommend to see . For me the rain forest its the best and I always go .the tallest part in the rain forest its 3543 feet yes they are Hundreds of Mountain in PR .
The caves of Camuy this caves where discover in 1958 and it has 220 caves for 10 miles. 13 species of bats and many other frogs and spiders makes this site fun and they have night tours and rock climd tours .
Bioluminecent Bay its a weird but great Place to see we have 3 of this in Puerto Rico one in Fajardo one in Vieques and la Parguera , they are Micro organism that there defends mechanism its to glow so the tour are at night so people can see this enjoy this weird thing , many companies offer kayak tour boat tours but do to there sensitive life in some of the Bays they dont aloud for people to Jump in it I was a lucky one 2 years ago and I did Jump it was scary and fun at the same time .
The dry Forest : yes every one always go to the rain forest but not many people think of the Dry forest in the South part of the island its a dry weather only 39 inch of water a Year and it looks like de desert in Arizona or Nevada .
The Observatory of Arecibo its the worlds Largest Radar telescope in the World build by the NASA its use for the SETI basicly a program to detect Life in Space and radar signal in space , its a Nation Park and its been in Many Movies From Contact to Golden eye from James Bond , Little green men from the X files and the Movie Species and many other its one of the best Places for nerds like me lol and its only 10 minutes away from the caves .of Camuy .
San Juan the capital has so Much but the Old san juan its the best , Part of My family its original from Old San juan and its where I live for many years and its my Play ground , One of the best secrets Its the House of Ponce de leon yes that one of the fountain of Youth Lol his Family lived here and he was the first Governor of Puerto Rico so his House its call the White House not that one in DC , and it was build in 1521 . the city has tons of galleries and restaurants , The san Jose church its the Oldest church in Puerto Rico even some people say that it was the cathedral , and the forts we have 2 one was mostly destroy in the 1800 but still its one of the largest build By the Spanish in America Thats the San Cristobal , and the Other its the largest fort in America El Morro Build in 1539 by King Carlos 5 . the second largest fort its in Cuba . just walk and explore the city .
I can go on and on since there is so much to see Puerto Rico actually has many island around so its great for going in a Boat and explore and only 2 of those Islands are actually populated and are Citys , thats is Vieques and Culebra .

San Juan its very gay and it has many clubs for the gay community and The island even has 2 gay prides , the One in San Juan the first weekend sin June and the second the second weekend in june in Cabo Rojo in the South ,
There was a gay Hotel not any more but every where they are very Gay friendly and there is 2 gay Beach in San Juan one in Condado and the Other in Ocean Park , but condado its the most liberal one .
many people ask me where its a area to find guys I always say just walk any beach around the island and you will find the action LOL , specially in Ocean park ,old san juan by the capitol building , Luquillo beach , Manati beach los Tubos , Arecibo el faro ruins ,Lajas de dry forst yes even the natonal park LOL , those and many more are the best to get the Local Flavor LOL enjoy .

Ya era Hora de que hablara de mi isla , Soy natural de Puerto Rico y Fui Guia turistico de Historia por 10 anos con varios cruseros como Royal , carnaval , Princes , entre otras . asi que se bastante de La Historia de mi isla pero les dare solo lo mas importante .
La Isla estubo Ploblada por nativos varios tipos de estos pero los mas famosos lo fueron los Tainos , la isla fue tomada por los espanoles que la colonizaron en 1492 con cristobal colon , pero Juan Ponce de leaon fue el primer gobernador en capara la primera Capital , en 1521 se fundo San Juan . y de hay La Historia de Puerto Rico continua LOL .
La Isla tiene una Gran Mezcla de culturas Auque la mayoria son de desendencia Espanola , hay muchos que son mestizos , de los Africans que provienen del oeste de Africa que vinieron como esclavos y de los Tainos . Luego Tuvimos mucha influencia Francesa 16% de los apellidos en Puerto Rico son Frances auque en el 1500 a 1800 los Franceses eran enemigos de Espana pero Lugares como Vieques y Ponce reyna la Cultura Francesa , en 1815 comenzo la Migracion de Corsica una de las mas grandes casi en competencia con los Espanoles Muchos en la isla son Corsos por eso tanto apellido Italiano en La isla , como Dominicci, Biaggi , casanova , Fraticelli entre muchos otros Tambien Huo griegos como parte de mi familia pero no hay muchos y Holandeses e irlandeses pero no son culturas tan grandes en la Isla .
Puerto Rico Paso a ser parte de USA Luego de la Guerra Hispanoamericana de independencia de Espana , y desde 1898 somos teritorio o colonia de USA, dos de las industrias rincipales lo es la Farmaceutica y el turismo . La isla tiene mucho para Ofrecer asi que pondre algunos de los mas importantes :
El Yunque , este Parque nacinal de USA fue creado parque por el Rey alfonso en 1876 y tiene 28,000 acres de terreno la elevacion o la montana mas alta es 3543 pies de altura pero no es la montana mas alta , todo el centro de Puerto Rico es montanas .
Las cavernas de camuy fueron descubierta en 1958 pero ya los nativos habian estado en estas tiene 10 millas para caminar 220 cuevas con 17 salidas y solo se a explorado una pequena parte se dice que puede haber hasta 800 cuevas mas .
a 10 minutos de las cuevas esta el Observatorio de Arecibo este es el radar telescopio mas grande del mundo creado por la NASApara el proyecto SETI que obtienen senales radar del espacio , es tanfamoso que ha estado enmuchas peliculas como Golden Eye de james bond , la pelicula Species , y Contact y muchos otros programas .
La Bahia Bioluminecente estas son 3 una en Vieques en Fajardo y lajas , estas tienen Micro organismos que Brillan o se alumbran en la oscuridad como mecanismo de defensa se dan tours en botes pero como son sensitivos y han estado desapareciendo muchas companias no estan permitiendo entrar al agua , estas bahias han estado en Discovery chanel y Travel Chanel como lugares mas importantes en el mundo cientifico.
El Bosque seco , si lajas tenemos un bosuqe seco ya que el Sur de Puerto Rico es clima con poca lluvia y es mas desierto asi que comletamente diferente al norte .
Por Ultimo San Juan , el Viejo san Juan tiene muchos Lugares de interes desde la casa de la familia de Ponce de leon se llama la casa Blanca y no es la del presidente de USA , hasta la iglesia san Jose una de las mas antiguas en La isla del 1526 otros dicen del 1530 , elMorro el fuerte o castillo mas grande construido por los espanoles hoy dia por que anterior el castillo san cristobal fue el mas Grande pero fue destrozado y hoy dia es solo el 3 mas grande en America el segundo mas grande esta en Cuba y tambien se llama Morro .

Puerto Rico es Bastante amistoso con los gay especialmente en San Juan hay muchas bares gay y tambien esta el sauna nuevo , y es tam asi que tenemos no una pero dos paradas gay , una en San Juan la primera semana de Junio y la segunda en el sur en cabo Rojo La segunda semana de junio .
Hay dos Playas gay Ocean park y condado pero la de condado es mas liberal que la de ocaen park pero hambas estan en San juan la capital.
muchos me preguntan donde se fletea o se consiguen los machos Ja ja ja en todas las Playas de Puerto Rico dia y noche lol solo busca una playa desolada y veras muchos Hombres camiando hay es el vacilon ja ja ja perdonen .
las mas Visitadas para conseguir el sabor de Puerto Rico ja ja ja son La Playa los Tubos de manati , Ocean park de noche , la Playa por el capitolio , Luquillo , Bosque seco si hasta el Parque nacional se fletea , la playa de pnce y el faro de arecibo , en fin son tantas por que hay tanto maricon de closet y casados que les gusta todo esto LOL.

no por que soy de Puerto Rico pero es un destino muy interesante asi que si no han Hido visiten Puerto rico y le doy como destino gay un 9 ( esto es del 1 como peor al 10 como mejor )
